Activate your potential with Think Gray!

The “injection myth”

Leadership is not a “thing”.

Forget the myth of leadership as a singular, static entity or something that can be "injected" at an event. Think Gray Coaching helps you embrace the true nature of leadership: a dynamic, ever-evolving dance between experience, response, and attitude.

  • The Consequential Aspect: The impact you leave behind, the tangible outcomes and the positive changes you initiate.

  • The Experiential Aspect: The lessons learned through the tapestry of life's challenges and triumphs, both successes and failures.

  • The Attitudinal Aspect: The unwavering mindset you cultivate, the lens through which you choose to view and approach every situation.

Working Together

The focus of Leadership

01

Achieve the mission

If we don't have a mission, we don't need leaders. Achieving the mission will require: a defined scope (what we will and will not do); pathways thinking that is grounded in reality; agency thinking that engages and empowers, and visible quality standards. These elements provide the map, then we steer to the objective, while accepting that "no plan ever survives first contact with the enemy".

Look after your people

02

Create the conditions that generate energy, efficacy, engagement, and empowerment, remembering that you cannot "inject" any of these, they must be ingested voluntarily. As a leader, you create the conditions that generate power with people.

03

Develop New Leaders

Successful leaders understand the significance of operational continuity. It's not just about achieving great results, but also preparing people to take on more challenging leadership roles in the future and cultivating personal responsibility. By fostering personal efficacy as a core competency, you can establish an environment that promotes sustainable growth and success.
